Jayne is joined on corporate assignments by Dina Hedges who has the same or equivalent qualifications.

All Touchworks therapists are required to be qualified to the highest standards.

 Q. Is all information supplied by the individual confidential?
A . All information given by the client is totally confidential, and will not be disclosed to any third party.

Q. Is Acupressure and Reflexology suitable for everyone?
A. You will be asked to complete a short medical history before any treatment to ensure that you are suitable. Most people can receive complementary therapy, although it may be necessary to modify or offer an alternative treatment. If you cannot receive treatment you will not be charged. Where appropriate we will offer advice and refer you to another health professional, i.e) Chiropractor, Podiatrist, etc.

Q. Can I have Acupressure when I am pregnant
A . No. This type of massage is not comfortable during pregnancy. Reflexology, is usually a better option.

Q. Do I have to commit to having a course of treatments?
A. No. We can advise you how often to book to get the most benefit, but you can re-book whenever it suits you.

Q. Can I pay by credit card?
A. Unfortunately not, we can only accept cheques or cash. Private clients will be asked to pay at the time of treatment – Corporate clients, as per agreement.

Q. Do Touchworks only work in the Corporate sector?
A. No. Our service is mobile, and our therapies are accessible to virtually anyone, anywhere.

 Q. Can Touchworks therapists diagnose medical conditions?
A. No. Complementary Therapists are not medically qualified  -  (unless they happen to be a Doctor who has subsequently trained in complementary therapies of course!!) We can only offer Complementary health care, using the skills we are qualified and insured to use.

 Q. Is it okay to drink alcohol prior to treatment?
A. No, sorry! You should NOT drink alcohol prior to treatment.

With Seated Acupressure Massage, it is also important that you have not missed breakfast/ lunch, as the treatment may affect blood sugar levels, (this is particulary important if you are diabetic).

You should keep yourself well hydrated after treatment, so you will be advised not to drink alcohol afterwards as well.
